Why Combo DSC?

Sign and Encrypt — All in One

Combo DSC combines a signing certificate and an encryption certificate on a single USB token. It is the standard choice for companies that bid on government tenders or access procurement portals.

🔏
Sign + Encrypt in One Token
A single USB token carries both the signing key and the encryption key. No need for two separate DSCs — one token handles all your needs on tender and procurement portals.
📜
Mandatory for Most E-Tenders
Central government portals on NIC/CPP require encrypted bid submission. Class 3 Signing alone is not accepted. Combo DSC is the minimum requirement for most government e-tenders.
Priority Same-Day Issuance
Combo DSC requests receive priority processing. Submit documents via WhatsApp, complete video KYC, and receive your token the same business day — including installation support.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions — Combo DSC

Combo DSC contains two keys on a single USB token — a signing key (to digitally sign documents) and an encryption key (to encrypt documents so only the intended recipient can read them). This combination is required on portals where bids or documents must be submitted in encrypted form, such as most central government tender portals.
Most government e-tender portals operated by NIC (National Informatics Centre) require bidders to submit encrypted bid files, which is only possible with the encryption component in a Combo DSC. Class 3 Signing DSC can only sign documents — it cannot encrypt them. If your tender portal asks for "Signing + Encryption," you need Combo DSC.
Yes. Combo DSC fully replaces Class 3 Signing DSC and works on all the same portals — GST, MCA21, Income Tax, EPFO, TS-RERA, and all other government portals that accept a Class 3 certificate. Upgrading to Combo DSC does not mean losing any existing functionality.
No. The DGFT portal requires a specific DGFT-class certificate issued with DGFT-specific extensions. Combo DSC (which is a Class 3 certificate) is not accepted on the DGFT portal. If you need to file on the DGFT portal for import/export, IEC, or EPCG, you need a DGFT DSC.
Combo DSC is issued on the same business day once documents are received and video KYC is completed. We prioritise Combo DSC requests. In Hyderabad, same-day delivery is available. For clients in other cities, the token is dispatched the same day via courier (delivery in 1–2 business days).
For individual DSC: PAN card, Aadhaar, passport-size photo, and a valid mobile number and email address registered in your name. For company/authorised signatory DSC: additionally the company's incorporation certificate and an authorisation letter on letterhead designating the applicant as the authorised signatory.
